Logo Series: Guidance
The IPM has provided the following guidance notes for the benefit of all IPM Members, Approved Partners and external parties. This guidance must be considered in conjunction with the IPM General Terms & Conditions of logo usage (click).
The IPM logo series (associated with the IPM and its products & services) aims to provide acknowledgement of Approved Partners’ and other affiliated organisations’ operations, products, and services - allowing other IPM Approved Partners/ Members, and indeed non-members and unaffiliated organisation, to recognise; events, resources, qualifications, and materials associated with the Institute.

The Institute of Place Management Logo

The IPM logo has been made available online (copy & paste), subject to the general terms and conditions, as a professional courtesy to associated organisations, including, but not limited to, IPM Approved Partners and IPM Members, with intent to positively “promote” IPM and its products and services.
This is the only logo that will be made available electronically, publicly, because remaining IPM logos relate specifically to purchased products & services and will only, therefore, be distributed within those processes. The logo must be used in close proximity to, or in obvious connection with, IPM or a specific IPM product or service and is provided in good faith for discretionary use.
The IPM Approved Partner Logo

This logo can only be used by IPM Approved Partners following formal election through the IPM Approved Partner application process. This logo is valid for use for a 12 month term, after which validity checks will be made, and continued use is subject to the successful renewal of IPM Approved Partner Status (annually) and adherence to the IPM Partner Code of Conduct.
The logo can be used by Approved Partners on generic sources/ materials associated with their organisation, such as, but not limited to; websites, letterheads, marketing literature, and lends discretion to the organisation to use the logo appropriately.
This logo intends to convey the organisation’s association and commitment to place management and the IPM as the industry professional body, and communicates that the IPM supports the Approved Partner’s aims & objectives in the field.
This logo cannot in any way be used to endorse, or give the impression of endorsement or accreditation, to specific qualifications, events or resources without prior approval from the IPM - the IPM Accreditation and Endorsement services must be engaged for this purpose. This logo can be used, however, on materials that have been accredited or endorsed by the IPM.
The IPM Continuing Professional Development Accrediation Logo

This logo can only be used on specific event literature or resources following engagement of the IPM’s Accreditation service.
The IPM Endorsed Award Logo

This logo can only be used on endorsed qualifications, training programmes etc, and their associated materials following engagement of the IPM’s Endorsed Award service.
Organisations or individuals wishing to use the IPM logos in conjunction with their organisation, activities or resources, who are unsure as to the correct usage of an IPM logo(s), should contact info@placemanagement.org to clarify their intentions and gain written permission of use before progressing.
