This conference is a chance for BIDs from the UK’s big cities including Manchester, London, Liverpool, Leeds, Hull, Cardiff, Newcastle, Aberdeen, Belfast, Birmingham and Bristol to get together to discuss issues that we all share.

There are a plethora of BID conferences running across the UK, but, talking to our peers, Manchester BID understands that the issues faced by market towns or suburban BIDs are generally not the same as those facing BIDs in major urban centres. Therefore we are hosting a day when the UK’s big city BIDs can meet and share best practice.

The event will be an informal chance to network and discuss industry challenges and opportunities – hearing from colleagues across the BID industry. It will take place on the Monday of the Conservative Party Conference being held in Manchester, and we therefore hope to be joined by the BID Minister and members of DCLG.
